Recently I acquired an IF23 Disco from the Torchguy to replace an SC32 Sarge that went walkies. I really liked the Sarge so I could not wait to get my new toy. When I opened the parcel I could see the Disco has some style and the build quality is great. After reading Mark's instructions I tried it out and I was impressed! Not only was the beam a lot brighter, but it also has an LED floodlight on the side so I can now light up the room by bouncing the beam off the ceiling and, at the same time, throw a direct light where I am working at my desk! The name "Disco" must surely come from the coloured LEDs, which are nice to see, but I needed white light... and I've now got some SERIOUS light! I'm very glad it has a magnet in the tail because I often work in dark computer cabinets so I stick the Disco to the side panel and, wala, I can see what I'm doing! I'm not glad I lost my Sarge but I'm very happy I now own a Disco. Anton Ungerer, Kyalami, Jhb.

I am overjoyed – what a stunning and useful torch the Disco is! For someone like me who has torches of all shapes and sizes I am amazed that Sofirn are able to keeping coming up with new and innovative designs. The quality is superb and the combination of lighting choices are great. I have no doubt that the nocturnal animals of northern Namibia and Botswana will be dazzled by the Disco lights I intend using on my upcoming trip. Jan Arkert, Wilderness

Most of us have a torch which is just enough to brave loadshedding or find the ablution block at a campsite, but then a friend introduces you to her Sofirn IF23 Disco and its amazing beam of light. Envy is a powerful emotion! Well, I now own a Disco... and I am loving it! However, after my partner developed a deep envy of my Disco I was overwhelmed by a fear of losing it so I quickly contacted Mark and got the C8L Panga for our wild camping trips. We now have a very happy home with bright, focused, long-range lights with Li-lon rechargeable batteries. Cheryl O'Reilly, Cape Town
