I have treated myself to a Trustfire T90R Nuke, which is a very impressive piece of kit and will outshine anything else in its price range. On level three of four it will easily throw a beam 100+ meters, and when switched to level four it will knock your socks off! The first setting will show a companion where you are without blinding them, while level two gives you a very adequate light. The build quality is very good, although the charge indicator light in the switch is almost impossible to see in daylight and is poor in the dark. The switching sequence is not as user-friendly as it could be – after level four a click of the switch takes you to level one, which is like complete darkness by comparison – I think it would make more sense for repeated clicks to take you down the scale (i.e. levels 3, 2, 1). Also level four can only be used again after the torch has been switched off at the tail-switch, which is tricky if you're carrying something in your other hand. Overall this is an outstanding torch but I feel it needs a tweak or two. Dick Bilbe, Plettenberg Bay
